Over the years, we've had the pleasure of painting portraits of pets with some truly galactic names. Here are our favorites — and the breeds they tend to suit best:

• Chewbacca (Chewie) — Perfect for fluffy, vocal dogs. We've painted more Chewies than any other Star Wars name, and they're almost always Golden Retrievers or Samoyeds.
• Leia — For the regal female dog who clearly runs the household. Collies and Cavaliers are natural Leias.
• Yoda — Small but wise. Ideal for Chihuahuas, Papillons, and any dog with ears that seem to have their own agenda.
• Vader — For the dark-coated cat who prefers to observe from the shadows and judge silently. Black cats named Vader are a Bolapawzi staple.
• Wicket — The brave little Ewok name for small dogs with enormous personalities. Pomeranians and Shih Tzus, we're looking at you.
• Rey — For the scrappy, independent rescue dog who came from nowhere and became everything.
• Grogu (Baby Yoda) — The newest addition to our Star Wars name hall of fame. Almost exclusively given to round-faced, wide-eyed dogs. Pugs and French Bulldogs, naturally.
