The Portrait That Traveled: One Family's Cross-Country Move

When the Nguyen family decided to move from Boston to Portland, they spent weeks deciding what to keep, what to donate, and what to leave behind. Furniture was measured against doorways. The Portrait

"A new house doesn't feel like home right away," Linh says. "But when Cooper's portrait went up on the wall, it started to. It was familiar. It was ours."
